What makes you happy?
Today I was feeling down.
So I decided to ask and see what made other people happy.
It was so amazing how you can tell what kind of person they are by there answer..
Some didn't reply at all.
Some asked why I wanted to know.
Some wouldn't tell me..
But the answers that I did get, fascinated me.
I'll tell you what I thought...
#1. "Animals. Taking care of them, playing with them, helping them."
I think this person is a very caring person with the instinct to take care of things. She is indeed a very selfless person.
#2. "The Sun."
Her answer shows that she likes the security of something that will never fail her.
#3. "Seeing other people smile. Or when I'm with my friends."
This person's answer shows that she is a people-person. Very social and very funny.
#4. "Good weather. Happy music. Olive Garden. Singing."
This answer shows that they can appreciate the simple joys in life.
#5. "Knowing that I have people that love me, and knowing I can do something for myself and not cause of someone else."
This answer shows how independent this person is, while still needing some stability.
#6. "Every day stuff. Seeing you. Seeing my family not fussing over little things, just trying to be happy."
Hah, obviously this person is close to me, but their answer shows that they have an important relationship with their family and want to see them happy. This person's happiness is based on other people's happiness.
#7. "Knowing I have true friends makes me happy. Knowing I will always have someone there when I need them most."
Loyalty is happiness to this person.
#8. "God, Trusting in him and knowing that he's in my life and everything's going to be okay."
Happiness is faith to this person. Their answer shows that they find happiness in things that are not in this world. They trust in something much bigger than people or objects.
#9. "Other people's happiness."
Another selfless person.
#10. "My output on life makes me happy. If things don't go as planned, then that's okay, maybe it was supposed to happen like that. Friends can contribute sometimes, too. But mainly its how I want the day to be. If I want to have a good day, I'll write good things, maybe tap songs with my pencil, and think positive. On the other hand if I want a bad day to myself, I'll e down or cuss a lot or just keep to myself. But it's just me, that makes me happy."
This person's happiness seems to be built on themself. Not in a bad way. They just seemed like they couldn't give a simple answer of what made them happy. But I feel like maybe their happiness was built on their emotions day by day.
All of these answers are very good.
There really isn't any wrong answer.
Keep in mind these are strictly just my personal thoughts on others statements.
What makes you happy?
